One Week, One Pattern: Round-Up & Bonus!

I survived the “One Week, One Pattern” challenge!! Huzzah!

Please enjoy my round-up of my outfits below, and one bonus round because I had to work today.


DAY ONE

The Facts
Fabric: Black chiffon(?) mystery fabric from WalMart
Notions: Only thread
First worn: Christmas 2011
Worn with today: Jeans from Target Australia and yellow/black Keffieh
Did today: Hung around the in-laws’ place, got Jeni’s ice cream, went to first home Columbus Crew soccer game with the hubs.

DAY TWO

The Facts
Fabric: Quilter’s Showcase fabric from Jo-Anns
Notions: Four buttons on faux placket
First worn: To work in 2011
Worn with today: Sloppy/distressed American Eagle jeans from 2003-ish that hardly ever go out in public.
Did today: Drove home from C-bus, ate at Bob Evans along the way (pancakes for lunch, don’t mind if I do!), went to the grocery store, did some chores around the apt.

DAY THREE

The Facts
Fabric: Lisette cotton lawn
Notions: Four buttons on faux placket
First worn: Summer 2011
Worn with today: Cardigan from Target and black dress pants
Did today: Went to work, got an oil change, did some sewing at home.

DAY FOUR

The Facts
Fabric: Mystery black chiffon(?) from WalMart
Notions: Nothing
First worn: Christmas 2011
Worn with today: Cardigan from Old Navy, black Beignet-like skirt from H&M
Did today: Went to work, had a few meetings, picked up some produce, sewed and generally “vegged” at home.

DAY FIVE

The Facts
Fabric: Liberty Marlybone for Westminster Fabrics and cotton broadcloth
Notions: Nothing
First worn: Thursday!
Worn with today: Cardigan from H&M, grey pants from Old Navy, shoes from Urban Outfitters
Did today: Went to work, worked, drove home, sewed and watched TV.

DAY SIX

The Facts
Fabric: Grey cotton broadcloth and lace from my old bedroom curtains
Notions: Nothing
First worn: To the in-laws’ in February
Worn with today: Cardigan from Target, me-made navy skirt, me-made (poorly) black belt, and a pashmina-like scarf from some luggage shop in London
Did today: Went to work, had dinner at my parents’ house, watched the DVR’d Mad Men premier with them.

DAY SEVEN

The Facts
Fabric: Silk chiffon
Notions: Nothing
First worn: To a lecture, March 11th
Worn with today: Cardigan from H&M, and pants from White House|Black Market
Did today: Went to work, stopped at the video store on the way home – wanted Muppet Treasure Island and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (not out until June, oops) but they didn’t have either so we got Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, watched that while I cut out my next project for SW.

DAY EIGHT

The Facts
Fabric: Lisette cotton lawn
Notions: Four buttons on faux placket
First worn: Summer 2011
Worn with today: Stretch & Sew 300 cardigan in yellow jersey, jeans from Old Navy, me-made ribbon belt
Did today: Went to work for a family party we host every year, came home and wept slept for a bit, had nice dinner with the hubs.
