To Read in 2012

Once again I am embarking on my goal to read at least 50% of the books on  my LibraryThing.com “TBR” list.

1. Adams, Douglas – The Salmon of Doubt
2. Albom, Mitch – Have A Little Faith
3. Anonymous – 1001 Arabian Nights
4. Barrett, Andrea – Voyage of the Narwhal: A Novel

6-7. Baum, L. Frank – (5) The Road to Oz, (6) The Emerald City of Oz,
8. Beddor, Frank – ArchEnemy: The Looking Glass Wars #3
9. Bryson, Bill – A Short History of Nearly Everything
10. Cervantes, Miguel – Don Quixote
11. Christie, Agatha – Murder in Mesopotamia
12. Fry, Stephen – The Ode Less Travelled: Unlocking the Poet Within
13. Gelles, Edith – Abigail and John: Portrait of a Marriage
14. Grange, Amanda – A Darcy Christmas

25. Patchett, Ann – Truth & Beauty
26. Pearson, Ridley – Peter and the Starcatchers
27-29. Pratchett, Terry – The Colour of Magic, A Hat Full of Sky, Eric
30-31. Rand, Ayn – The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged
32. Rogan, Eugene – The Arabs: A History
33. Steinbeck, John – East of Eden
34. Thackeray, William Makepeace – Vanity Fair
35-37. Travers, P.L. – (3) Mary Poppins Opens the Door, (4) Mary Poppins in the Park, (8) Mary Poppins and the House Next Door
38. Wilder, Laura Ingalls – Farmer Boy
39. Winters, Ben & Jane Austen – Sense and Sensibility and Seamonsters
40. Wurtzel, Elizabeth – Prozac Nation

Which puts me at 47 40 titles, and I’ll need to read at least 20 by the end of December. It seems like a lot, but quite a few of these books are quite short. After realizing I wouldn’t be able to get a few of the books on my list at my local library, they had to be axed.

TALLY: 5/40 = 12.5% (Updated September 4th)
